SA results ?

I don't normaly post but lurk a lot!  You all are so helpful.

DH got his SA results: they were generally good except a high count of "unidentified round cells" (higher than his good count, which was still in the normal range).  Sounds like this could be either imature sperm or infection.  Anyone have any experience in this?

Next stop is a urologist, but I like to have some idea what we might be getting in to.

    Would they throw him on an antibiotic round for 2 weeks (the long crappy kind) and then SA again after about 2 weeks off to see the population of round cells are gone?

    Urologist seems a bit drastic for this issue. But, if they won't, I'd ask the urologist if that's a seemingly appropriate way to move forward.

    I agree with trying an antibiotic. I know this isn't always the case but our urology appt was completely pointless. "yup your sperm sucks, don't know why"  An infection would be easy to fix so it would make sense to me to rule that out. Good luck! Glad the other numbers are good!
