It is NOT Night Terrors....

Okay so I have been doing all this research as to why Gianna will just randomly cry for a minute in the middle of her sleep, but yet still be asleep.....Well it is NOT night terrors- thank goodness....Apparently through all my research night terrors really does not start until the age of 2 and up and only about 2% of children actually have night terrors....

So basically all I have found is that it could be gas, or teething etc...

That makes me feel better, but I still feel so bad for G when randomly in the middle of the night I hear her crying at the top of her lungs....DH and I just rub her face and kiss her etc and she stops....Never wakes up though.... Hopefully it is something she will outgrow very soon!!

That's interesting. At least she doesn't wake up all the way and it only lasts a couple minutes.

my guess is gas, make sure sure she burps a few times before putting her down

Anderson does this ALL the time, esp. lately. We figured it was because he was teething so we would give him Tylenol (not sure if you would want to do that). But the poor little guy wouldn't even wake up while taking his medicine. He sleeps fine after that.

Ad sure enough his third tooth popped through a few days ago.
