good places to take pictures..flowers?

My sister is going to take my LO's 6 month pictures.  I live in Hastings....is there any good spots in Hastings, Woodbury, Cottage Grove area that would have some flowers maybe for the background?

    I can't think of anywhere but the Como Conservatory.  We just had our family photos done there last week.  The have a ton of flowers indoors and outdoors.

    That's where I was going to recommend too. Also a hike but I bet they have some nice stuff at the Landscape Arboretum as well.

    Not entirely near you, but there is a very nice flower garden near the Longfellow House in South Minneapolis in Minnehaha Park.  The flowers are gorgeous.  I was just up there yesterday. And it tends to be quiet and not busy.

    Have you considered go to the Vermillion Falls??  I used to live in Hastings, but haven't been back in probably 5 years!  But we did photoshoots there a couple of times.

     

     

    Also, Centennial Lakes in Edina is great.  We got married there, and we get TONS of compliments on our wedding photos and the setting!

    I am not positive, but I think you may need a permit to do pictures at the conservatory?  I don't know if your sister is a professional or not and how they would distinguish that, but you may want to check into it.

    I would ditto Centennial Lakes and if you're okay with that location, also consider Arnesen Acres in Edina.  I haven't been there in forever but they had really nice gardens and I think that's where we'll do DD's 6 month pictures next week.
