victimized and just sick

I was at the pool with my mom and K and some one broke into my car and stole my purse.... I normally bring it with me, but some STUPID reason I didn't. They got EVERYTHING! I am just sick right now!

Please send any T&P that my stuff is recovered somehow, someway.

Luckily I did get everything cancelled in the way of credit cards before anything happened, but my license, ss card was in there... so I'm freakin out!

Here is a link to the website we send people who have had their SSC stolen. As far as your license goes. With our facial recognition technology and all the document requirements. It will be VERY hard for someone to use your stuff to get a license in your name. If that gives you any piece of mind.

Ugh--that sucks! It seems like there are so many people out there these days just looking for a free lunch--I've had several friends have their debit card numbers stolen. My mom had her purse stolen and they had used her credit card 4 times at gas stations within an hour. Thankfully my dad had his copy of the joint card and got it cancelled, plus visa didn't hold them liable.

I'm not really worried about that but am just worried about all the personal stuff I had.... I have no idea what was even in my purse. I just want my wallet, bc it had everything in it. Ugh I am just sick, literally sick....

yes, they smashed in my passenger side window. Luckily I have 0 deductible to get it replaced. I'm just trying to see the light in this that it could've been a home break in or something happen to a family member or something, but I am just sick.

There is nothing worse than this feeling of being violated. I've had my stuff stolen one time before and they recovered it within an hour luckily. I just don't think I'm going to be this lucky this time.

I'm also pissed b/c the center where I was at the pool said they've had a rash of break ins (4 last week) and there was nothing posted anywhere. I know it's common sense to not leave valuables in your car, but I think they should be notifying their members with a sign or something. That totally would've jogged my memory that I had left my purse in there.

I think I'm more upset at myself b/c this could've been prevented if I had just taken it with me... ugh.

I'm sorry to hear about this. I know how something like that just leaves you feeling...exposed might be the word that I'm looking for. It is just sickening to think of someone having that kind of personal info. Sad
