my eating isn't. I am quickly turning to a diet of bagels, corn muffins, ceasar salad, penne vodka, pizza, fruit, and cookies. I feel like a garbage truck!
Same here. I do okay during the day but get a serious sweet tooth at night. I'm having trouble with motivation to exercise now that I can't push myself as hard. I'm always worried I'm going to overdo it. What are you doing for exercise?
Don't worry too much about it right now. Once you start feeling better you'll be able to eat healthier. right now you just have to eat what sounds good! I'm impressed that you are even exercising, where are you getting the energy for that!?
I would say try to get as much of a balanced diet as possible but give in to some of your sweet tooth needs.
I was worried about gaining too much weight in the first tri because I had a great appetite but only for ice cream, cereal and fruit. I asked my doctor and she said to try to get quality foods in but you'll balance out in the second and third tri.
I have always been an avid exerciser so I just go and don't think too much about the energy. It also helps that I'm off work for the summer and can go in the morning when I feel the most rested.
As far as what I am doing, well my regular routine of long distance runs and hot yoga are out of the question so I've cut back to 45 minutes of low impact cardio (walking on an incline, elliptical) and more concentration on strength training (that's why I bought the training sessions).
Oh I feel you! Yesterday I ate a bagel, a bowl of clam chowder, some tukey smoked sausage, and mac n cheese. Soooo many calories and carbs, and no vitamins for sure!
