F/U to DH's Job Stitch

He got it! He won't be taking it. It makes half of what he makes now. He'll have to start in a truck he doesn't want to drive.

They did say that if he ever wants a job, call them and the will find a place for him with their company. They loved him. They wanted to hire him but apparently not enough to pay him more or put him in the kind of truck he wanted. Boo.

At least he knows now and won't be wondering anymore.

Once I get a job, he will be able to take a day off and maybe that will make the commute not so bad.

Congrats to your DH, but I am sorry that it didn't work out. At least it will be a great reminder of how great of a worker he is.

It's great that the interview went so well. Bummer that they couldn't offer him more money.

That's fantastic that he got offered the job and that the option is always there. I agree with pp, even though he didn't take it, it's gotta feel good to know they want him Yes
