Emily Elizabeth or Emily Frances. Frances and Elizabeth are both family names so we have chosen to use one, but can't decide which sounds better now that I have been saying it all day!
I have a friend who named her dd Emily Elizabeth, I LOVE the double E sound. I didn't know the clifford reference until it was pointed out to me. When my friend found out (who didn't know it either) she decided she didn't care and was happy at the prospect of being able to find cheap, personalized children's books....lol

I love Emily Frances and I have to say that I particularly like the combination because it seems to take the "trendy" out of Emily and force it solidly back into the classic category. It's a beautiful combination.

My name is Emily Elisabeth and I love the name. Growing up, I always loved the Clifford books and thought it was so cool to have the same name as the little girl in the books.
I also always loved that my parents opted for a more unique, but still traditional spelling of Elisabeth with an "s".
The only downside to being named Emily Elisabeth is that my maiden name began with a W, so growing up my initials were EEW... not the ideal initials, though I guess it could have been worse.

Re: Which sounds better?-Girl name finalization!
I think it depends on your last name... but without it, I go for Emily Elizabeth. It just sounds better.
Good luck!
Completely this.
