Not sure about the water births. Our birthing room didnt have a tub like that, just a shower. I think they allowed 3 people in the delivery room...if I remember correctly. I ended up having a csection, so I didnt get to that point.
I delivered at Beaumont Troy, but when I was making the decision I asked if RO allowed water births and they said they do not. Troy doesn't either. If you are in a room with a tub, they allow you to labor in the tub, but not deliver.

I delivered at RO and I don't know what the limit for guests were. But I don't think they have a limit on how many Hospital employees are in there!!! I think I had at least 15 - doctors, nurses, residents! And my delivery wasn't bad either - I don't think there was much else going on that day!
I delivered both my kids out of RO Beaumont. They don't do water births, but they do have tubs in some of the rooms. I'm sure if you are having an uncomplicated labor they would let you go in there for a while in the early stages. They don't allow midwives to deliver out of RO, only Troy, so alot of alternative birthing methods are not done there. The midwives that work at RO only work in OB triage. I don't know the amount of people allowed in the delivery room. I know while I was laboring with my daughter I had 5 at one point, but i only wanted DH there during the actual delivery.

I did - I had 2 people in the room. I think they allow 3 or 4. Not sure about the water birth thing though.
