We're there - Fake crying.

My ds has just started fake crying - it is so funny. He'll try to make a cry sound and then I can tell he kinda forgets that he's trying to sound distressed and he'll make a play sound, then he'll make a cry sound again. It's so funny.

I did notice though that the little stinker only fake cries with me. Boy has he got my number.

    DD is a month younger than your son and I don't know when they are developmentally able to fake cry but what I used to think was her fake cry ended up really being her tired cry! lol

    I will say though that she'll cough from time to time and I'll always look at her to make sure she's okay and the moment I look at her she'll grin........don't know if she's doing it on purpose or she is simply glad that I looked at her with concern and she'll soon associate the two.......

    DD does a really light cry - that you can faintly hear, I think its her "I'm bored" cry...  She also does a light cough - which I think is fake too.  And she'll crack up when you look at her, like "hehehe, gotcha!"

    my dd does both of those things too. The cry thing really gets to me, but her fake cough KILLS me everytime. It's so funny! She does this really loud "ahem" type cough to get our attention, and then wen she's got it she starts laughing up a storm. Big Smile
