My kitchen is covered in flour.

We made banana bread tonight. ?Triple batch. ?The kids helped. ?OMG. ?Bryan is a dangerous little man if given a potato masher, fyi. (for smooshing the bananas)

It was fun, but I hope to god I never have to clean that much flour sugar and baking soda again in my life LMAO

    You're brave. I have not even thought about having Justin helping with baking.

    Eh, we did the egg thing, maybe it's time for some baking?

    Start off with scrambled eggs before you move to baking LOL ?We used to let Bryan (Sam too when littler) stir some water or flour in a pot with a wood spoon, that way they would feel like they were helping. ?They both can crack and stir eggs, Sam does some measuring - it's fun! ?Messy, but that's half the fun :-)

    how old is Justin? Jake's been helping me cook/bake since he was 1 1/2 or 2.... He loves it!

    ha no I was too busy on cleanup duty. ?No dishwasher makes things take a while, and it was bath night. ?

    Emily loves to make me breakfast in bed on the weekends. I'm all for it! She is actually really good with the eggs now. Justin? He's good at wrecking the place. Seriously, he breaks anything he comes into contact with.

    It's always such a mess, but we always have the greatest time.  I'm always glad afterwards I let them help, even when I find caked egg and flour on yet another side of the cabinets 3 days later.

    He'll be 2 on Sunday. I just need to relax and let him "help".
