When in Houston, we used Morning Glory Montessori (Bunker Hill area) for infant care when I was working, then Bertha Alyce Center at the JCC in Meyerland.

Esperanza in the Heights for daycare (soon to be in a new facility just off Washington)
School of the Woods (private) for pre-K and elementary at least, possibility to go all the way through HS
