Survived Shopping for a Baby Shower

ugh..How many more will there be at work this year!! This is #2, 3 more to go (that I know of at this time).

The gift wasn't as bad as picking out the card. What I really wanted the card to say was...You have NO IDEA how lucky you are to be having this precious little baby.

    I headed to $.99 cards.  They get to the point withouth all the mushy gushy stuff.

    this is why I have done my shopping online for all 4 of the baby showers I am invited to in August!

    but i haven't even thought of cards yet! ugh

    Glad you survived.  I went shower shopping also for my SIL today and got into trouble because there was a huge sale and I couldn't help but buy for our future miracle.  I figured if I don't get KU soon I can either return the stuff or give it to someone else who's prego since everyone but me is KU.  LOL

    First of all that is a great card idea. I would buy it. . . LOL

    Second. You are brave! I order online and send it straight to their home. I don't even go anymore. I hate the "how long it took everyone to get pregnant" conversation. :)

    I found one at Target like this it said " How LUCKY you are to be bringing a baby into this world" on the front, the inside had something along the line about the baby was lucky to have you as a parent, (which is not true) but I could not resist getting this card for this girl who is very self involved and too dense to actually realize the reason I bough the card :)

    I feel ya! It's (luckily) been a while since I've had one, but I have one this weekend for a friend who is having twins. And who started TTC after we did. FUN.
