Not really flameful confession

When I don't like what DH dresses DS in, I change him and then lie and say he spit up on it.  I especially do this when we are going somewhere and want him to look really "cute."  (As if he isn't cute enough already.  ;)

Re: Not really flameful confession

  • Funny, I've noticed DH change both boys frequently after *I've* dressed him. KimiCas says I'm colorblind. LOL
  • Loading the player...
  • I've done that once lol.

But, on the flip side, it's happened before that when I put her in one of my fave outfits that is just perfect for wherever we are going, she gets a little poo on it from a leak. Or spits up right before I put the bib on!!! Karma I guess.

  • That's why I lay our what I want DS to wear every day.  I am almost always the one to dress him, but just in case his clothes are on the dresser ready to go.

If he spits up or anything, DH is smart enough to just put him in a plain onesie.

  • I did that once. But in my defense, my DH put him in a green striped onesie with a totally clashing colored green pair of plaid shorts. That was definitely warranted!
  • That's why when DH and I are going somewhere, I always tell him the following:

If you change her diaper, I'll go pick out an outfit for her and load her stuff into the car. Works every time.

(DH is actually pretty good at picking out clothes for her, but I like to do it, hee hee)?
