NBR: My student is missing

I'm a HS teacher and coach. ?One of my students, who also happens to be on my team, is missing. ?He told his dad that he was coming to practice last night, but never came and never went home. ?Now he's not in school. ?I'm on maternity leave, but the school even called me this morning to see if I knew where he could be and if he was at practice. ?He's a really good kid from a not so great home life (no physical abuse though - thank God!), so I'm hoping he ran away. ?He bought his own car this summer, so it'd be easy. ?We're all worried about him and the cops are looking for him right now. ?Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. ?I just hope he's safe, wherever he is.
