We just got home.... it was a LONG ride. I LOVE BEING HOME. DH's sister-in-law is a crazy insensitvie ***! She had IVF so you would think that she would be kinder to us...nope! Her sister brought over her 5 month old baby and when they left she said to me.... "Oh my i bet seeing the baby must just be just devistating to you and make your uterus hurt." I had to count to 10 so I would not smack her!
I spoke with my doctor... DH is going in for an SA in the next week or so and I am going in for an HSG on Thursday... I am nervous... If you have had on fill me in on what to expect... please.
Re: I'm back... from Philly and my bump break.
I'm no help.
But sorry for the insensitive fertile. And. Glad your home!

Your SIL sucks - let me know if I need to go over and kick some a$$.
I had the HSG and mine wasn't too bad at all. I would take 3-4 advil about an hour before it to help with cramping. The procedure is really quick so by the time it hurts it will be just about done. Good luck!!!
Welcome back! Hope your break was just what you needed to clear your head and get ready for the next step(s). My BIL and SIL are moving to Philly in a few weeks and I'm contemplating flying to see them! I can't imagine driving there from Pgh, let along Michigan!
Do you ever go on the Trouble TTC board? I'm on that board a lot. Tons of great advice, even if you just want to lurk. My DH said the SA isn't a big deal, but he's had two, and two rounds of IUI, so he's pretty used to it. Try not to panic if the results are less than perfect. There are tons of vitamins and supplements guys can take to improve their results. If your dr allows it, go in with your DH, to "help" him, or let him do the sample at home. If you help, the erection will be stronger, resulting in more semen. HSG isn't a big deal. Take 4 advil about an hour before. The cramping can be pretty painful during the test, but the test only takes a minute or two. You'll know the results right then and there, and you'll feel fine after it's done, and will be able to drive home/back to work.
