A new poster with a question

Hi all,

I'll be twelve weeks tomorrow and so far things have been going really well. Saw and heard the baby's heartbeat last week at our third check up (we had two earlier ones as I had an early pregnancy failure), and had the NT scan and everything looked good. But this morning I woke up and my breasts, which have been pretty sore for most of the pregnancy, feel almost totally normal. I have been lucky without having much morning sickness at all, but now I feel like I have no symptoms at all and hardly feel pregnant. Have other people had this happen?

Even though I've just been lurking on and off, I have to say that I find so many of your posts reassuring. It's just nice to know that other women are going through all the same things.

Thanks!

MC

  • Yep completely normal. Try not to worry about everything. I was also lucky and had no morning sickness and my only sign of pregnancy was the boobies hurting and growing so much and that stopped about 2 weeks ago! So enjoy the pregnancy and try not to worry to much. H&H 9 months to you

  • Yes completely normal.  Some women have hardly any symptoms all the time and some run the gambit of all symptoms.  Anyone will tell you though that the symptoms you do have will come and go and as you inch closer to 2nd tri some will never be heard from again Party!!!
  • Thanks so much to each of you! It is so hard not to worry, but you are right - should try to take it easy!

If it helps I think I've asked the same thing at least twice.  We're going to be mommies, it's our job to worry! Wink
  • Understand completely!  I've had no morning sickness, all I've had are the sore breasts, being tired, and being hungry.  Well, my breasts quit being sore about a week ago and now I'm not hungry all of the time.  I'm a little worried too, though I know it's silly, but still...

Can't wait til my dr appt on Thursday just to reassure myself!

  • You sound just like me! My hunger has also gone down a bit. It is hard not to worry, but I am sure everything is fine. There is nothing quite so reassuring as hearing that little heartbeat. Best of luck at your appointment on Thursday, keep us updated!
  • Hi and welcome!

As pp have said, try not to stress.  My boobs were sore for maybe the first 2 weeks - and since then, totally normal (other than the fact that they grew 2 cup sizes Embarrassed)
