So I have C-Diff

I have been really sick for the past couple of week and they ran all kinds of test on me and it turns out I have C-Diff which I got from my godmother who I was taking care of that was in the hospital with C-Diff - they are putting me on antibotics for 10 days but I am not sure what this means for my cycle - I will need to call my RE tomorrow and find out because I am suppose to start cycling in like two weeks.

    What anti-biotics will you be on?

    I think it should be fine to cycle.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Thats great they figured out what is wrong! I hope it doesn't mess with your cycle!

    Glad you got a dx!  If you are/will no longer be ill when you cycle, I can see no reason why you couldn't go ahead.  Let us know what the RE says.  GL!

    I'm glad you finally know what's been making you sick but I really hope it doesn't affect your cycle. Let us know what your RE says!

    i'm glad they figured it out! but c-diff is rough. good luck on the abx. I wonder if they will make sure you have some "negative" stools before they start the cycle?

    Oh my....I am sure you are glad to know what is wrong.  Feel better really soon.  Fingers crossed that your cycle will be able to go on as planned.

    I am a newbie and don't know an answer to your question, but I had c-diff before. It is so miserable! At least you're on your way out of that situation. It is seriously the worst.

    I am so glad you finally have a diagnosis! I have no idea what C-diff is, or how bad your case is, but I am hoping the 10 days of antibiotics clear it up and you can start cycling shortly after it!

    OH NO! I am so sorry. C-Diff is MISERABLE and REALLY contagious. Be careful that DH doesnt get it!

    I hope it doesnt effect your cycle!

    Wow that sucks. I hope you get some answers Tuesday. I hope you feel better now that they have you on meds.

    So glad to hear that you now know what has been going on.  Hopefully the antibiotics will make you feel better soon and not delay your upcoming cycle.   Thinking of you  :)
