Infertility

So tired of stimming!

I'm on day 10 tonight and I'm not thinking I'll be ready until the weekend, maybe Monday.  I'm just feeling like I responded better on clomid that I have with Follistim.  I know a couple of you were feeling the same way today.  I wish it would cooperate for once!

  • What dose do they have  you on and what was your last E2?

  • It's really low, 75iu for 5 days, 100iu for 4 days and back to 75 tonight.  Not sure the exact E2 other than they're increasing but normal.  I have one at 13, one at 12 and one at 10 that may/may not mature.

  • Hang in there! My follies grew faster toward the end.

  • It sounds like they may be too conservative with your dosing. Especially with your first cycle, + having PCOS, they tend to be way cautious.

ETA: Once your E2 gets high, those follies can really take off (mine do at least)

Ok good to know, I thought they just were 1-2mm per day no matter what.  They are being *very* conservative.  Which is ok, I don't want to be Octomom, but I would like something to happen!

  • It is a long time to stim and only be at the point you are at, but you are right, way better than the risks of over stimming.  And they also grow more after the tirgger, so I think you will be just fine. But I know the monitoring appointments and all the shots get so old.

  • Hang in there!  Hopefully, it will all be worth it.

I agree with PPs that follies tend to grow a lot faster towards the end.
