Bedsharing Sucess!

DD has always started out the night in her co-sleeper/PnP, and then comes in bed with us after her first waking, and stays all night. She started STTN this week, and coming in bed around 6-7 until I get up at 8.

Anyway, we went to a family reunion this weekend 5+ hours away, so we got a hotel room. I just bedshared the whole time because it was easier than packing stuff, and the hotel cribs are usually frightening. First night was miserable -- she nursed all night long, gave me a hickey when she didn't latch on the nipple, and was awake from 4-6am trying to roll off the bed. 

Second night, she STTN beside me! I was in SHOCK when she woke up to nurse and it was light outisde. She has NEVER done that. Bedsharing success!

    Very exciting!! I am anxious for that day to arrive!  Oh and I cracked up about your LO giving you a hickey...I could so see DS doing that if he tried to latch himself in the middle of the night!  Thanks for giving me something to giggle about this afternoon!

    You didn't wake up while she was giving you that hickey??  It HURTS when DS latches on wrong like that - I can't imagine sleeping through it!

    I was just thinking this! If he latches off my nipple I literally yell out because it hurts so bad.

    I was just thinking this! If he latches off my nipple I literally yell out because it hurts so bad.

    I woke up just enough to go "hhhmmmm she must be chewing on me" and that was it. LOL
