Dr. Brown Users

I just switched from the drop-in's to Dr. Brown bottles. We switched formulas and the new formula gets really really foamy and we couldn't get it all out of the drop-ins. With the Dr. Brown bottles all of the foam just stays at the bottom. Is that how it is with your bottles and formula? I don't know why this formula is so foamy, it's really annoying!

Re: Dr. Brown Users

  • Add a gas drop to each bottle and the foam in gone!! A trick someone told me on here and it works every time!

  • Which formula did you switch too? Is it Similac Sensitive? I tried that formula once and had a major foam issue, so I had to switch to something else. I was afraid it was giving her major gas.

  • We use Enfamil Gentlease with Doctor Brown bottles and we don't have any foam issues at all.
  • Yep, Similac Sensitive!
  • We put in a tiny drop of Gas Drops.

This is what we use with the Dr Brown's and we stir it, instead of shaking and don't really get any foam at all.   Or even better is to make a big batch in the Dr Brown's pitcher and you get no foam whatsoever!

I use the same formula with Dr Browns bottles. Stir instead of shaking and you won't have any foam.
