I just read that you're planning to do a 1/2 in March. I'm currently training for one this October.
Which training program do you use? How many times a week do you run?
This will be my first 1/2. The training program has us running 5 times a week. I'm finding that a bit much, so we've changed one of the shorter runs to a swim.

Go to RunnersWorld.com and check out their training guide. You enter a previous race time and how hard you want to train, what days for long run, etc., and it spits out a great training program. That's what I've used in the past. I'm not really on a program now, but that's what I'll use.
I am doing the Army 10-Miler in Oct. and *thinking* about joining my friend in Vegas for the Half in Dec. Not sure yet, but we'll see! Halfs are great, you'll love it! Which one are you doing?
