Trouble TTC

Our House...

Is not ready for toddlers! Our 2 year old niece and 3 year old nephew came in town last night and they taught me so much about getting the place "kid ready". I would recommend this to everyone once they have a LO on the way, as a great baby proofing lesson.

  • We always joke that our dogs have taught us so much with baby-proofing as well. If it's within his reach, our beagle mix will try to eat it. We have latches on all the kitchen cabinets (as he has been known to open them up) and baby gates in most of the doorways so that they are somewhat resticted as to which rooms they can/cannot go in. The first time my niece came over, my sister was amazed at how "baby proofed" our place already.

  • We are definetly not baby proof.  But with DH's game consoles and junk we are all set for kids ages 7 and older.

Yes I have a play yard for my dogs when we go camping.  I think I will buy another one for any babies we have and just set it up in the living room. (I think I am joking but I might find I really need to get another one.)
