I got the magazine!  Thank you!!

Love the appliance ratings.  I am saving it for our remodel that I hope is coming sooner vs later!

    Oh good, you're welcome!  Glad you got something out of it for appliances--did you get any idea on cabinetry, floors or other things like that?

    Well, I know I am going to paint the cabinets.  Did I mention I am now going to do off white and a dark island?  The magazine talked about laminate,  vinyl and wood flooring.  Since I am thinking about taking the wood out and using tile, that part wasn't geared towards me.  I also liked their breakdown of the different countertops.  I am going to sit and reread it when I get a sec.

    Thanks!  Yes, you are right.  Sam is looking more like me and Max has always been Chris' mini-me.  He has my eye color and that is it!

    No, but I LOVE that look. If I remember correctly, the cabinets on the cover were a white or off-white?  I think off white cabinets make a kitchen cheery, which I love b/c most often people are in their kitchen more than any other room in the house!
