    Ah, I figured it must've been elsewhere since birthing centers are so few and far between here! I'm glad to hear you had such a good experience, though!

    There's currently only one here as well, although I've heard my midwife (who is no longer at the center I used) will be opening another one here by the end of the year.

    I really hope more birthing centers will start opening up all over the place - there certainly seems to be an interest in/demand for them!
