Daycare recs - East Dallas

I have only one on my list so far: East Dallas Developmental Center (EDCC), in Lakewood.

Does anyone know of any others in the area? Or does anyone here have any experience with EDCC?

    EDDC was on my list ages back. i called to ask about their policies, rates, availability, etc. they never called me back or answered my later emails. that was more than a year ago, so take it fwiw.

    just north of there, on skillman, is a place called Kid Kountry. i think it is a private daycare operating in St Andrews Presbyterian Church. i don't know anything useful, but a friend had a neighbor who was happy there when we were looking.

    what part of east dallas? there are lots of church-based daycares in the white rock/lake highlands area, but that may be further east/north than you're looking. the zip code search on state child care search can be helpful.

    I'm looking in the areas of Lakewood, White Rock, and Lake Highlands. I didn't know about the state child care search, so I just tried it out and got a good list of centers. Thanks for your help!

    also in LH, I have heard good things about White Rock North's daycare.  It's on Walnut Hill and White Rock Trail.

    My son has been going to White Rock North School since he was 5 months. He's now 29 months and still there. No problems ever, we love it.
