9 month olds and ball pits?

Would your 9 month old like a ball pit? Or be scared of it? Sorry this is a stupid post LOL. Just wondering if I should get the ball pit that I saw on Craigslist...

    We got the balls and put them in a laundry basket.  It's just the right size for our babe.  

    Balls are pretty cheap and they sell them at Target, Walmart and Kmart.  We got 1 bag, but 2 bags would be more appropriate for a pack-n-play. 

    I don't think I'd buy a used ball pit, but if you really want it and it's a good deal, and you have storage, maybe you could save it for when he's older.

    Yea I was thinking I could just buy some balls (because DD loves balls!) and if anything, put them in their baby pool...

    DS got in his girlfriends Disney Princess ballpit (he's totally confident in his manhood...lol) around 9 months and loved it! Its such a favorite of his when we go visit that we got him a Mickey Mouse one for his birthday. Depending on the size of the pit, because these are rather small, and I've seen some that might be too large and overwhelming, I think your LO would like it a lot!

    It depends on how deep it is. I brought her to Gymboree at 9 months, and she loved the balls there. But, that wasn't like a ball pit. I think if it didn't overwhelm her, she would like it.

    Do you have a PnP?  We bought the 100 count bag of balls from walmart for $10 and put them in the PnP.  It works as a ball pit, but contains the balls better.  At least for now, the PnP is tall enough that she does not get many balls thrown out.

    I have 1 baby that enjoys the ballpit, and 1 baby that is terrified of the ballpit - so it depends on the baby.  However, they both enjoy playing with  the balls outside of the pit.
