Registry Adivce

Ok...all you experienced Mom's out there. I am going to be a new Mom in December and really need some registry advice. Anything that you have found as helpful "must haves" for new Mom's? Aside from the usual things, crib, changing table, etc.  Thanks so much!

    DD loved her bouncy seat.  I was very helpful for me too. Also we had 2 swings and DD didn't like either one of them.  I would see if you can borrow someones before buying to see what kind of movement the baby likes.  Also when the child gets old and exesaucer (sp) and playmat were some of her favorite things.

    Swaddle me blankets. They helped calm G down when she would get fussy and they definitely made her sleep longer. A rearview mirror for the car so I can see G in the backseat. My Chico stroller/carseat combo. The jumperoo for when they get older. I still put DD in there if I need to shower, cook dinner, or clean the house. A good diaper bag with lots of pockets/dividers. A paci clip so the pacifier doesn't end up on the ground.

    Things not to waste your money on: a sleep wedge/positioner, a wipe warmer, bottle warmer, sterilizer.

    Oh, and definitely register for a Boppy and an extra cover. Once I was finished nursing, it was useful for propping DD up and it helped her learn how to sit up. Don't waste your money on the Bumbo seat.

    A jumperoo! DS adored his.  Also, he was a big fan of his swing.
