Hi Ladies,
I'm wondering if any of you that have had extremely bad morning sickness (still very sick even w/ zofran) had it the whole time or just first trimester? I am having the hardest time with this pregnancy m/s wise. I'm hoping there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

With DS, I puked at least twice a day and was constantly nauseous from 5w6d until 18 weeks. It was its worst at 17 weeks. I think it just wanted to give me a swift kick for its exit.
My doctor kept telling me that it would pass as soon as the first trimester was over. It didn't. I was absolutely miserable. My m/s was one of the biggest reasons I was so scared to TTC#2.
You just need to find what works for you. I tried everything, ginger, sea bands, lemon drops, preggo pops, etc. The only thing that even helped a little was eating simple carbs every 2-3 hours like clock work. Simple carbs digest really quickly, and that is what you need. I didn't eat meat or dairy until I was 20 weeks because I just couldn't do it. I lived off of cereal, ramen noodles, and toast for 3 months.
I had a little more mild m/s with dd (controllable with zofran) until 22 weeks.
This time around I throw up multiply times a day even with zofran (and I'm tried two other drugs as well). It's not letting up yet but here's hoping we both find some relief soon!!

I had really bad morning sickness with my DD it lasted from 7 weeks until about 17 weeks. All of the sudden I felt great!
this exactly, with my first.
