how long does your 4 month old sleep a day? my pedi said to aim for 14-16 hrs a day.
we are lucky if we get 9-10 hrs at night with her getting up at least once at night. then, she maybe take 1 or 2 30-40 minute naps and maybe 1.5-2.5 hr nap later....do u even count a 30 minute nap?
So, she only sleeps around 11-13 hrs...anyone else have this prob? is 11 hr way too little?

My daughter is 4 and a half months, and honestly JUST started sttn 7PM-7AM like 2 days ago. She doesn't really like napping all that much, and on a good day gets 1-2 hour long naps....but on a bad day, doesn't nap more than 15 min at a time.
Before 2 days ago she was going down around 8-9 and getting up every 4 or so hours....up for the day by 6AM.
Don't worry, they all figure it out in their own time, and you can't forca a baby to sleep. Just be patient

I love these two beautiful children!
My DS is in bed from 8-8ish with one feeding, although lately he wakes up numerous times for his paci (started at around 4 months). He only takes 2 or 3 30 minute naps a day, so I guess he's getting around 13 hours...
The No Cry Sleep Solution says that any nap less than an hour doesn't count, which makes me laugh!
