Who has told no one yet?

I keep reading through posts and see comments about not announcing the pregnancy until after first appt, first tri, etc but then seem to mention that they have told parents, ILs, BFFs, etc. Has anyone else told absolutely no one other than DH/SO?

Only a very few close friends know (four to be exact) and DH of course. But everyone else will wait until 2nd tri.

Only DH and I know. We hadn't told anyone last time either, except my mother guessed so the cat was out of the bag before my first appt, and well, that didn't go very well. We'll probably tell this time when I can't hide my belly any more.

I don't even think that we truly believe this is happening. I think I'll believe it when I have a baby in my arms.

Only my DH and I know...I am waiting until my first u/s and then we are going to tell are close family...My 1st appt. is on Wed. and I'm assuming that the u/s will be in a week or two. I'm dieing to tell but I just want to hear that everything is going well before we let the cat out of the bag!

That was me until my nasty bleeding episode of last week. Assuming I was on track for a d&c the next day I told one of our senior partners (so she could make excuses for me at a huge client meeting). However, since we were blessed to see a HB on u/s that afternoon, she is now "in on the secret". Not how I wanted it to be AT ALL. but since we are still day-to-day with this LO I felt like it had to be done or risk my job.

No one else is going to hear about it until we hit 12 weeks, especially given the issues we have had over the last couple weeks (with bleeding and the LO measuring a full week behind dates). I am not even telling my mother. She would be so very devastated if we lost the LO that I just can't do that to her until we have some assurance that he or she is hanging in for the longer term,

We haven't told anyone yet, but we're planning on spreading the news after 2nd appt at 9w2d, when we hear the HB. We would love to wait for the 12th week, but I go back to work at week 10 or 11 and I want my superiors to know. And I don't want work to know before my family.

So, we'll spread the news on 9w4d and 5d... this last date is my bday so we want to take advantage of the event Smile

I can't wait to shout out loud I'M PREGNANT!!
