Couple of AR questions

1. Did you notice a change in how much they drank after placing them on meds and getting AR under control?

2. Not sure if burping is related to AR or not but were they hard to burp also?

I ask b/c DD has been on Prevacid for 3 days now. Not sure if it is in my head or not but she seems soooo much happier. She is now taking 3 oz every 3 hours. Before she would take 2oz every 3-4 hours and overnight she would wake to eat but only take 1.5oz. It was like she took just enough where she wasn't starving and then want nothing else to do with the bottle. Now I can burp her half way through and she actually wants the bottle back.  Not sure if its the Prevacid actually working already or maybe a growth spurt at 5 weeks? Also she is burping much better and quickly.

    My lo did the same thing.  He is on Zantac.  He became such a happy baby after the meds kicked in and does eat 3-4oz every 3 hours..at night he may only take 2-2 1/2 oz.  he still has some days when it seems like his reflux is acting up.  He does burp better too...we were actually told to burp him less.  We burped him at every oz at first but then he got very difficult to burp so pedi said burp 2-3 oz.
