Monthly pictures?

For those of you who are having monthly pictures of your baby, where do you go & any suggestions (JCPenney, Sears, etc)? Thanks! :)

Re: Monthly pictures?

  • We didn't do professional monthly photos, I just ordered monthly stickers from picky sticky (https://www.etsy.com/shop/pickysticky) and took photos myself (photos in my blog, link in siggy).

Regarding professional photos, we just did newborn, 3 month, 6 month and we will be doing 1 year.

  • I do monthly pictures at home with wooden blocks in front of one of our walls in a cute outfit each month. For professional pictures I went to Picture People and still do occasionally but I've been mostly taking them myself. I do know that some ladies on here do fabulous photography though.

We did the picky sticky things too.  Very cute.  I also took her to JCP and used their $3.99/sheet coupon that you can always find online.  For awhile there I was taking her every 2 months because I'm crazy :)  But you can't beat the price.  I'm so glad I have those photos too!
  • We also did at home monthly growth with iron ons for her first 12 months.

  • I know that when we've done pro-pictures, we go to Penneys. They have so many coupons for $4 prints. We usually buy an 8x10 of any pic we love and scan it to print ourselves later... YOu can get 6-8x10s for about $20 with their coupons.

Coupons are on their website or here

  • We did JCPenney every month for the first year, using their $3.99 a sheet coupons.  We'd usually spend about $25 a month so it wasn't too bad.  Now we take her every few months to Picture People.  More expensive and we buy less pics, but I like the quality better.  JCP was just fine for the first year though if you need to keep the cost down.
