34 wks and constant diarreah(TMI)??Help!

So I have been up non stop last night with really watery/loose bowel movements! I have been at least six times back to back it seems like, my butt is pure rawSad I googled diarreah in late pregnancy and it said that some women experience this right before going into labor! Has anyone experienced this? I am scheduled for a c-section Aug. 10th so I still have 4 wks left! I wouldn't mind going early, but I am SO tired of going to the bathroom! I went earlier and it's like I have to REALLY go but then I hardly do anything??? And everytime I go I pee....which is alot if you ask me for having been six times already! I don't know if there is anything I can take or not? Any suggestions please??????

Drink a full glass of water and have something high in fiber (raisins, oatmeal, etc). It could be a bug and you need to stay hydrated. Do you have any anti diarreah meds you can take?

It can be a sign of early labor, but is rare, especially this early. If you start cramping or get contractions, call you doctor.

  • Thanks! I was concerned if I could take pepto or not, I will defiantly try that:)
  • I have diarrhea almost every day and did with DS as well.  Sometimes it's only 1-2 times per day, other times it's 4 times before noon!!  A lot of people like to tell you it's a sign of labor, but diarrhea can be a sign of pretty much anything (bug, stomach upset, nerves, bad dinner last night.. you get the idea).  Make sure you stay very hydrated and out of the heat today.  Of course, if you get contractions or water breaks, call the doc (obvious, I know).  Good Luck!!!  Hope you feel better!!!!
