DH...I dont get him sometimes....

I am 38 wks tomorrow and this morning he decides to tell me that he doesnt like the name that we FINALLY agreed on.  Now we are back to square one and this baby can be here any day now.  He drives me nuts sometimes.

    Yikes! What was the name you had picked out?  Yes, It is really close to delivery to have to start back at square one!

    We had picked out "Hunter John".

    I even have an embroidered hat with his name on it for the hospital.  Not that I care about the hat, but I just wish he would have said this earlier.

    I wish DH would have done that with either of our children.  Mia was a name that I liked originally, but settled on because it was the only name that I sort of liked that DH finally came around to.  Jackson we had set while I was pregnant with Mia and DH insisted on it this time.  I'm not entirely happy with it, but he's become "Jack" so I don't think there's any changing it.

    We've been calling Stella by her name since we first learned she was a girl. How can your DH wait till now to tell you that important lil' tidbit??

    This. Everyone (family, friends, us) have been calling our LO Morgan since we found out he was a boy and that was what we would be naming him. He already has a little identity and I can't imagine his name being anything else at this point.

    I've seen quite a few posts on here lately of DH's changing their mind at the last minute, so you aren't the only one. If mine suddenly has a problem with the name, I think I might throw something at him...not that I'm a hormonal pregnant woman or anything. Stick out tongue

    I would definitely be annoyed as well, but at least he's deciding this BEFORE the baby is here and you can still change it. Better that he not regret it for the whole kids life, right?

    We have been keeping the name secret from everyone anyway.  We have just been referring to the baby as "the baby".  We decided on this name "maybe" 2 months ago, so its not like it has been THAT long.  But it took so long for us to finally agree on "something".

    We're not even picking the name till we meet him. He's Sprog until we see him, and then we'll be picking two of three names we have picked out, whatever suits him best. Maybe suggest that to your DH?
