What kind of activities do you do with your 7 or 8 week old to develop them? I constantly feel the pressure to develop my LO, but she does not react to many things just yet. I have colorful wrist bands for her hands that she has not figured out quite yet. We do tummy time several times a day. I sing and talk to her in Russian. My husband and nanny sing and talk to her in English (and the nanny also does in Portuguese). We read her fairytales and other childrens books and she has mobiles over her crib. We play music for her often. I just started giving her a massage nightly. Am I missing anything? Any other ideas?

I don't know, I guess I feel like if I don't start now, she'll somehow fall behind and not develop to her full potential. I think I may just need to control that anxiety...
Sounds like it. When you think about it, some of the greatest minds probably didn't have any infant stimulation/development. (Think scientists like Newton or Currie, or artists like Beethoven and Schubert...)
My DD is 7 weeks and I play music in the house, talk to her when I'm doing things ('Mama is making supper now. These are carrots." etc.), and she has some black and white patterns that she likes to looks at. Beyond that, I just enjoy her!

It sounds like you are doing great! Parenting is full of anxiety, but at this point as long as you are attentive to her needs and interact with her when she is awake, she will not fall behind.
