Video monitor recs

I am going to finally get a video monitor.  I swear no matter how quiet we are, Brooke wakes up right after we check on her.  Anyone have a monitor they love?

    The last couple I nanny'd for before starting my daycare had a Summer Brand (not sure of the model #) but I loved it and never had issues with it. It was awesome and I will definitely have one when we adopt our baby.

    We have the Summer Day and Night and I am obsessed with it. I am SO glad we bought it. I actually got it new in box on Ebay for about 1/2 the price but I would have paid full price looking back. It is staticy (sp) sometimes but that's my biggest complaint and it's really not that big of a deal. I feel like the viewing unit's battery does die quickly if you are viewing the video a lot. I'm talking after like 2 nights or so. I just have to be good about plugging it in every night. Most of the time I just keep it plugged in and the volume up so I can hear it from wherever I am.

    I really think we need one of these.  Not until now have I thought that the audio monitor is not enough.  Lately, we NEED to see what she is doing in her room, and I can imagine that we need to see again when she is in a toddler bed and making all sorts of noise.  I think we are in for one.
