I just can't shake this hungover feeling. I hate complaining - I know it's a blessing, don't get me wrong... but what I would give for a day without feeling so yucky. Just a day. So long as by baby is healthy.
Someone tell me it gets better... or share your cure for feeling better.

Re: Hungover feeling
You should probably be drinking more fluids. I think a hangover is due to dehydration from drinking. I get that feeling also sometimes and I mix some gatorade powder into water (not much) but it seems to help.......feel better!
I have to force-feed myself right now... nothing is appetizing.
As far as water, I am drinking over 8 glasses a day. Sometimes up to double that.

the only thing that eases the pain (slightly) for me is ice cold water or juice. I'd also love to feel back to normal. Hopefully, this will all go away after 13weeks like with my last one....
Hope you can find something to get you through!

It goes away, but it's different for each woman and can be different even for different pregnancies. I know that knowing it will go away helps. You nailed the description right on the head though. It's like being hung over with no discernable end (24 hrs) and without the fun that might make it worth it. (unless you count about 1.5 to 2 months ago). I eat whatever I can in little quantities. Cheese quesadillas (sp?), chicken soup, or even a plain peice of wheat bread helps sometimes. Othertimes, nothing works at all.
I'll share my chant when it gets really bad: my greatgrandmother told me that the worse the m/s, the healthier the baby. (I know this isn't scientific, perhaps not even true, but it helps to focus your attention on something other than the crappy feeling.)
I hope you feel better soon. And in a month or so we can all struggle with our rapidly expanding waistlines rather than m/s. Is it sad I am actually looking forward to that?
