I hate walmart vent!

So, I want to get the LeapFrog music table for Claire so she can practice pulling to a stand (we don't have anything her height right now).  At walmart.com it's $35, and they said it was available at our walmart.  So I go to the store to get it, and it's $45!!  And they don't price match their online store, but they price match other stores (but not other walmarts).  Are you kidding me?!  I was pissed.  I just wasted 45 minutes of my day.

  • I hate walmart as well.  I refuse to go there.

    On a side note I got a really awesome music table for Evie at OUAC for $15.  A few swipes of clorox wipes and soapy water later she was having a blast!

  • Can I jump in here and say I hate Kohls? I ordered new shoes for Kaylee online after I checked 3 stores here and nobody had them. 8 days (that was 5 business days) later they email me saying we canceled your order because we're out of stock.  How fricken hard is it to have an electronic inventory system?!? Not even a "we're sorry have  10% off your next order" or anything! GRRRRRRRRRRR.
  • I got mine at a church mops sale for $8.  I did see one at Carmel OUAC earlier this week but didn't notice how much it was.  They do have site to store shipping, but I might just look somewhere else.

  • I was going to OUAC before I did anything, so I went tonight.  They had one for 20 bucks, and it looks pretty new.  Score!! Big Smile  Screw walmart, lol.

  • We have been boycotting Wal-Mart for a year. The last 3 times we have went there: we have been accused of stealing because they're U-scan screen was locked up and said we still owed, when we had a receipt in our hand that clearly showed a $0.00 balance, we tried to use gift cards that wouldn't read, even though they had money on them, and this last time my SO scanned the wrong card on the U-scan and hurried and pressed cancel, which summoned the U-scan clerk over- well she said (though it was hardly legible) that the transaction had gone too far and we just needed to continue, to which I asked for her manager, which she then proceeded over to a cash register and talked to another cashier, NOT the manager, then came back and again told us we needed to just finish the transaction, so my SO finally just signed for it, THEN she put in her code, for which she was originally summoned to CANCEL this transaction and it clearly said on the screen- IT IS NOW OK FOR THE CUSTOMER TO CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION!!!! I could have just knocked her teeth out if she had any left!

  • Ugh, so the one I bought at OUAC is busted!  It doesn't do the letter/abc side of the book, just music.  Off to return it.
