nursery mural is done!
Here are a couple of pics:
The crib is going on the left under the floating petals and the butterfly and we'll probably put a nightstand and a glider by the trunk of the tree. The dresser will go underneath the window and the bookcase/storage unit will stand vertically on the wall adjacent to the window.

and used it as a guide to paint it freehand. I used to paint A LOT as a teenager and I wish I had more time for it. I average like 1 painting every 2 years now

Wow. Very impressive. I was about to ask how much it cost to have professionally done when I saw that you did it yourself!! I have seen some professionally done murals that did not turn out nearly as lovely as yours. Congratulations on a great job!

Tania, LOL @ your comment. That's what DH and I say about some of the paintings we've seen at local galleries. We're by no means professionals, but we both have artistic hobbies.
