Who's around? Whats new?
I am soooo happy that its Friday and that the weekend is approaching. I hope this day goes by quickly! We have lots of plans this weekend. My nephew's 1st birthday party, Sophia's furniture delivery, moving her furniture into Isabelle's room, etc, etc...
What about you guys? Que pasa? Whats up? And HELLO that whole Lebron James thing yesterday was about the Heat? I had no idea. I am already sick of hearing his name, though. Haha.

I have Sarah's baptism tomorrow! Then, in the evening, we're having our annual "cuz fest" lol All of the cousins on my mom's side who are over 21(there are 6 of us) get together and have our own little party which we dubbed "cuz fest" where we drink heavily lol
Sunday I'm going back to my cousin's house with Pete and the girls to watch the Spain/Nederlands game! it'll be a fun weekend!
I'm here, but just for a little bit.
Today, I want to finish all those projects I've been working on. FCAT scores are out and we're just waiting for the county to disaggregate them, so I have a feeling I'll be called in next week to work on our School Improvement Plan. On a good note, our school did great. Only 9th grade went down a bit in reading and in math, but all other grade levels increased their scores in every subject! Our middle school really rocked and increased their scores across the board! We expect to maintain our A status for all three schools (we have a middle, high, and performing arts on the same campus). But, we'll see b/c the criteria for school grades changed a bit this year. I'm crossing my fingers for that FCAT bonus in December!
Tomorrow, we are having the accordion-style hurricane shutters installed. We're not too thrilled about it because we could've remodeled the master bath instead (the only original thing left in the house), but we decided to be practical and play it safe this hurricane season. Plus, with me preggo, DH would be on his own if we went with panels or plywood.
Sunday, we're having a little R&R in the pool and we're going to bbq for a few friends.
The Heat thing was crazy last night. There were people banging pots and pans on the streets. I heard 49th street in Hialeah was crazy!

I'm so excited it's Friday. We have no plans this weekend which is actually a great thing since we have not stopped for several weekends.
Last night's "decision" was crazy!! DH was jumping off of his seat the entire time. We have season tickets so I am just excited that they will be worth something now, not like last season where no one even went to a game.
I'm here! The last few weeks have been soooo busy but I'm having the rare "slow" day today. DH took the day off and is spending the day at home with Emma...lucky!!! We have no set plans yet. We wanted to go to dinner either tonight or tomorrow night without the baby to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary which was on Wednesday. Besides that, we were thinking of spending some time at the pool. We were supposed to do our 2nd half of Emma's 6 month pictures (yes, I realize we're a little late at this point) with Studio by Carmen on Sunday afternoon but then DH reminded me about the world cup game, which he will NOT be missing, so I'm trying to reschedule those now.
The LeBron thing is NUTS! I undertand how people who are not sports fans could be slightly annoyed at all the hype and think that it's being blown out of proportion, but HELLO - this is a sports town and this is probably THE biggest thing (if not the 2nd or 3rd biggest thing) to happen in Miami sports history EVER. Even if you could care less about sports, it's still has huge cultural significance for our city. Let yourself get a little excited and stop hating on the excited fans
I'm here, but needing a huge cup of coffee this morning! It is the 2nd night in a row that I wake up at 4am and can't go back to sleep until 6am! And on top of that, the TV remained on (until I turned it off at 4am) to ESPN, so all I would dream about was LeBron, whom I know detest! LOL
I too am anxious for the weekend. Tonight we have bday party to attend, and tomorrow I will be doing my registry. : ) Sunday I just want to relax in my pool w/ some virgin pi?a coladas.

Good morning ladies. I'm just as thrilled Mel, that it is Friday. Can't wait till 5pm. I guess another reason I woke up feeling so good today is that I feel like I finally got a bit of rest. It's been weeks of horrible sleeping patterns and even though I got up once to pee and tossed about 5 times, I actually slept. I could'nt believe that my body finally gave me a bit of a break. I honestly don't have any special plans for this weekend but I must say that a lot of wonderful things are happening out of the blue. Definitely little surprises coming out of no where and giving us a reason to really smile.

I'm a big sports fan and I actually used to work for the Heat so I'm super excited about it!! Though i did think the announcement was rather anti-climatic.
I've got lots of school work due this weekend so I'm working on that today. I'm bummed because I was supposed to be going to see U2 tonight, but then they postponed so I'm upset about that!
I have a pretty busy weekend - birthday party tomorrow, then dinner for my MIL b-day tomorrow night. Sunday I have a baby shower for my cousin then I'm going to watch the World Cup Final game!!!!
LOL Very true Jen, and I'm very happy for the Heat and hope this helps the community come together. However, I dont' appreciate being wokenup to LeBron talk at 4am b/c Dh forgot to turn off the tv... he was literally in my dreams, and I didn't appreciate it. : )

Let's see...had Aaron's last swim class this morning which he is so in love with. So I decided to re-up him for another 6 classes but now he will only go once a week till the summer is over.
Saw Eclipse for the second time last night...trying to cheer up a friend. Funny the thing you notice the second time around. I swear Jacob has a mutant hair growing from his ear. And when the vamps come out of the water Riley has a huge nose bubble LOL.
I had my 15.5 week check up yesterday and the baby looks good
My nurse said I look like I am 20 weeks and I know it's true. I use to measure my belly by looking down and seeing if and when it stuck out further then my big boobs. I think it happened at like 25 week with Aa...and it is already out past them right now. I think I may be a tank with this pg. lol.
19 more days till we find out if this baby has a kosher pickle

I have been feeling alot better during the day.. Nighttime is still horrible for me but atleast Im fine during the day.
Hmm this weekend. We have a birthday party Saturday.. Sunday will be church and then the pool.
Only bad thing is Im sooo missing my mom! She travels with her gfs in the summer. She has been gone 3 weeks. (Italy, France, Germany & Austria) and my dad left today to go meet her in London. And they will be gone another 10 days.. I cant wait until they get back.. I miss her!!

Happy, happy, joy, joy!! It's Friday!! I agree Leanna - the whole Lebron announcment was anti-climatic yet we're very excited over here in the U household!! We don't have any plans for this evening but tomorrow we have a pool/play date yeah!! And Sunday - we plan to visit my BIL in his new place for some swimming, bbqing, and futbol! Sunday night though - I need to prep for a BIG presentation I will be delivering at work first thing Monday morning
I am so happy it's finally Friday. Even though this was a short week it seemed to take forever to finish. The only things on the agenda for this weekend are movie date night today and watch the soccer game on Sunday. Pretty chill weekend for me.

Im currently running around like a chicken with its head cut off for Eric's 1st Birthday party next week! I am exhausted..but excited at the same time! I am just praying for good weather.

Andrew has hit the climbing phase full throttle. He's climbing up on the back of the couch and on the end table. He has no fear.
The only thing he's not climbing is the crib, thank goodness!
He's also figured out how to remove the safety plugs from one of our outlets.
When he plays by himself, I hear him saying, "No no no." LOL Wonder where he got that from?
There is no resting in this house unless it's nap time. Toddlers are so much fun! I'm loving just about every minute of it.
I'm here at home w the kids, about to try to do some work from home, but not sure if it will work bc G is on my lap and I can only type one-handed. This will go really slowly!

I'm actually waiting for the weekend to come and go because we have our u/s on Wednesday and if baby cooperates we'll be able to see if we're having a boy or girl! I'm sooo anxious for it to be Wednesday already!! The only thing we're really doing this weekend is watching the world cup final!
i'm here...have the day off from work (actually the next week off!) and i'm just waiting for my babysitter to come over so i can go visit a friend who has a newborn.
doing well, just living a hectic life...as we all are huh? going out of town without the family for a few days next week, which i'm looking forward to and dreading. i'll be fine once i get there. it will be nice to just detach from work and home and just have fun fun fun!

I'm around now, although no one else is! We have a birthday party tomorrow afternoon, and then we decided to drive down to Grandpa's (the restaurant) for dinner which will then of course lead to dessert at Jackson's! Other than that, we will be relaxing.
The whole Lebron thing, I was dissapointed. We knew he was coming here, but I was expecting a little bit more excitement in the announcement.
Other than that...I hope everyone enjoys the weekend!
