"Growing pains"

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and the past 2 days, usually in the early morning or before bed, I get this strange dull pain in my lower abdomen-if feels like my uterus is stretching! This seems to be common but I still worry something is wrong? Am I just being paranoid???

    Hi, congrats on your pregnancy!

     Yep, you will fell all kinds of aches and dull cramps during early pregnancy.  Usually sharp pains are related to gas or a BM (worse if you are constipated, a lovely preggo symptom).  Dull aches that often feel like ovulation pain is round ligament pain.  Big stretching feelings often feel like or are bloat as well - very commone in the first trimester.

    i get the same thing except my pain doesnt feel dull at all lol ): i asked my doctor about it though and he said it is just the uterus stretching to be able to support the baby and the pain is normal so youre fine!

    That makes me feel so much better, thanks. The stretching pain has subsided, I'm 9 weeks now-due February 7th 2011:) Thanks for all your advice!
