Welcome, ladies, to the Expecting a Sibling Weekly Check-In! I will try to post this check-in each Friday around 10:00am-12p EST, so be looking for it! I'll also try to repost this around Saturday-Sunday so that others can add to our thread. If you'd like you can also put the date of your next checkup or u/s and I'll add next to your name so that we can send good thoughts your way on that particular day.
Below is the list of ladies who have joined us, 70 so far! If you would like to be added to our list, please leave your Bump Name, your real name (if you choose to share), and what number child this will add to your family. Newbies are always welcome, as well as proud step parents & those adopting!
For those who are newbies please read the post New to January Moms or The Bump? (thank you to mchupie!). It will help answer so many questions, and you can also grab the January Joy button code from that post. There is also a bump glossary located here. And an unofficial glossary located here. The unofficial glossary contains a lot more bump lingo.
Also cdobry01 has setup a January Joy Mamas blog!
If you have a labor buddy let me know so I can make a note on our check-ins! It's okay to have multiple buddies too.

If you plan on staying team green/yellow/red etc.(because we all know there is more than one neutral color), let us know so we can mark you as such.

General QOTD: How have you felt this week? - Besides my horrific wisdom tooth problem, I'm doing fine. I've lost weight because I've been feeling sick from my tooth problem.
QOTD: Are you planning to have a babymoon this time around? - We're discussing a weekend getaway for sometime in October.
Yay!!! I finally caught the check-in!! NT scan is on Wednesday 7/14 and next OB appt is Friday 7/16.
General QOTD: I've been feeling fine, pregnancy-wise. Still have pregnancy brain and I'm getting more klutzy. I've started with the RLP. Can't get comfortable in my bed any more. I'm just hoping this means all is going well in there!!
QOTD: We haven't discussed it. We've gone away without DS twice since he was born for 2 nights each. I don't know if we'll go away again. DS had a rough time after we got back the 2nd time, but he's much more attached to his grandparents now. It's something to think about...
QOTD: Are you planning to have a babymoon this time around? Hope so. We just had our first weekend away from DD together a few weeks ago. It was awesome.

General QOTD: How have you felt this week? I feel AMAZING! I'm finally able to eat breakfast and my nausea isnt gone completely but I still feel SO good.
QOTD: Are you planning to have a babymoon this time around? I'm not planning a babymoon but I plan on taking quite a few days off this summer to go to the river, or camping, or to the festivals and such being held around town.

we didn't do one last time and we have no time to do one this go round. our weekends are booked from now through november (don't even get me started), and then it's the holidays and then it's january.
Hi Ladies I'm a newbie to the Sibling Check-in, still finding my way around the bump, but love the Jan 2011 group!

I'm due: 1/13/2011
This is my second biological, my bf also has a son so all together this will be three.
My next appt is on Thursday 7/15/10. I am not sure they will do an ultrasound, b/c I had one last visit (I was 10 weeks). However due to my medical history I will be getting u/s pretty frequently. I have had several issues with abnormal cells and therefore have a lot of scarring on my cervix due to the various procedures and therefore they have to check my cervix regularly to make sure i don't have incompetent cervix. I also lost my last pregnancy at 16 weeks so trying to stay positive.
General QOTD: I am feeling better this week, still a little tired. I have also noticed my feet and ankles beginning to swell a little. So I am trying to make sure I drink a lot of water, put them up when I can (I have a box under my desk at work). I think it may have a lot to do with the high heat and extreme humidity here in Upstate NY.
QOTD: We have not planned anything yet, and not sure we will. We have several big things coming up weddings and family reunions and all kinds of stuff that seems to have us busy for the next few months, even though it would be nice to get away!

we still haven't left DS overnight and i think the longer i wait the harder it will be, although i like the idea of a babymoon!

Can I be added please? My name is Vivian and this will be #2 for us. EDD is 1/30/11. My next appt is Monday. I will be 11w1d then and I hope that everything goes as well as it can.
General QOTD:How have you felt this week? My m/s has been come and go but when it's here it is here with a vengence. Thank God for zofran! I've also been unbelievably exhausted. Maybe it has something to do with the 100 degree NC heat.
QOTD:Are you planning to have a babymoon this time around? Probably not. We try to get away to the mountains every year over labor day. If we can go this year I will concider that our babymoon but we aren't planning anything specific.
