Fun activities with a baby

Hi All,

I'm planning a trip with an 8 month old in August. DH has a conference and I'm taking our little one out to visit while he's there. She's still very young but anything that might be fun to do with her during the day? Any child friendly restaurants that are worth checking out would also be a plus. TIA!
