Any recommendations for place to buy DS' cake? We want to get a good cake for his party, and I also have heard about lunds and other stores having free cakes --how does that work?

    festival has really good cakes! and you get a free smash cake with the purchase of a sheet cake.

    Lunds/byerlys gives a free cake on baby's first birthday with a birth certificate for proof.

    We got Olivia's "smash" cake (the free cake) from Lund's.

    We ended up doing a cupcake cake from Sam's Club and it was delicious, and the cupcakes went over really well.
