Tuesday, I had just gotten ds down for a nap after 2 attempts, when I hear the doorbell and the dog barking. I look out and there's a lady who obviously wanted to vote for some jackamo or have me save the (fill in the blanks). I have a pretty prominent "No Solicitation" sign taped to the middle of my door. We used to get them all the time and it would wake up the baby. Sure enough, Adam is awake and was a crank the rest of the day. I didn't even bother opening the door because I was so frustrated and was afraid I'd yell at her.
Today I'm up in my bedroom and I see the same lady coming across the lawn, clipboard in hand. I race downstairs, open the door, pointed to the sign and closed the door in her smiling face (she was still on the lawn, otherwise I would've told her to get lost).
Geez, I have the sign for a reason. This tired mama might've kicked some ass if she had woken Adam up *again*.
Re: Damnit, people, there's a "No Solicitation" sign up for a reason...
Sadly I bet 85% of the population doesn't know what solicitation means.
Exactly! Today was another day of him fighting a nap, so I was determined to keep him down.
LOL
