weird seeing people you know at RE

today I went in for my biopsy (I cried on the table because he had to do it twice- he didn't get enough the first time) and I ran into my sisters best friend of 15+years in the waiting room with her husband, both of them I know very well. It was so weird, I didn't know what to say. I hate that she goes there because if she ever crosses paths there with my known donor, she will know for sure what she is there for- this was exactly what I was trying to avoid!!

    Sorry happened. Hopefully they won't meet up.

    I'm seen pp. I know and avoided others by luck.   Another pain in the neck about all of this.

     good luck with your cycle. I think it's awesome you have a known donor.

    We were giong to donate our embies to a friend but it looks like we will be using them up ourselves.

    I wonder if I can talk to my nurse about it and when my donor is going in, I can just ask her to schedule visits around the other girl- she wont be able to tell me when she is in because of privacy, but I can just tell her to make sure they aren't there at the same time. Just a thought and worth the try

    Uhh, yeah. I ran into my ex-boyfriend's wife at the RE. And she is not a fan of mine at all.  Awkward!

    We ran into my DHs very first girlfriend from Highschool.  I felt bad for her because she seemed to be really uncomfortable.  I had come out of the bathroom to hear my husband asking her if she was doing IVF, and she said she was doing AI... and he (very innocently) was like "whats that???".  and then he was like... "we should car pool" (since we both live 3 hours away) Anyway, needless to say, she seemed quite uncomfortable!!!

    Running into someone I know is one of my biggest fears. I'm always thankful to get in and out of the waiting area quickly. 

    Does your sister know what's going on? Can she help diffuse the awkwardness? 

    lap 9/09= mild endo & PCO (but not S) SA= normal IUI #1-#4= BFN IUI #5 cancelled- too many follies IVF #1 = BFP
