TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Interview Attire ?

I have an interview late this afternoon for a Vet Receptionist.  They called me about 8 pm last night to set it up.  I'm thinking a formal black suit isn't quite right for this.  What do you think?

Re: Interview Attire ?

  • Maybe some black pants or skirt and a nice top.  Thats what I would go with.  It may not look as "formal" as a suit, but still gives you the professional attire look.

Good luck! Can't wait to hear how it goes!

  • I'd wear a skirt (maybe the one from your suit, if it's a skirt suit), and a nice blouse and heels.

  • I would wear a black suit......it's better to be over-dressed than under-dressed IMO. :)

    GL!!!

  • I'd still wear a suit.

This!  No one will fault you for being overdressed, but they may fault you for being underdressed.  Good luck, hope you get the job!

  • I think anything that PP said would be fine, but I think if you wear pants, you might want to go ahead and wear the suit jacket too.

  • I think a suit is still appropriate.

  • I have interviewed hundreds of people and I always appreciate a suit even if they are interviewing for a front line position.  It shows ambition to me.  But, I do agree even if you just wear a nice skirt and blouse it will do the trick.

    ETA: Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
