TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

My turn for a baby names post!

Flame away, but I kind of despise any of the "mc" names

mckayla, mckenzie.. mceverychildhasanamelikethis

reminds me of mcdonalds.

Also on my "hate" list: Maddison. I think that it's just because this name is so played out.

Names I do like:

Claire, Isla, Alexis, Evie (girls)

Henry, Jacob (thanks for ruining that one, Twilight!) and Jack (boys)

Realistically though, my  children shall be named "imaginary" and "non-existant". Both of those are very gender neutral, so they work ;)

  • Oh I hear you.  "Mc" means "son of," so to give your daughter a Mc name is just ridiculous.

I love all of your girl names, esp. Evie, and I'm a huge fan of Henry.

  • Flamewothy confession: I like the name McKenna for a girl. Don't worry, though, DH hates it.

  • I love Alexis.

We have a friend named Jordan McKenzie. He is a very macho "manly man." Though we would never do it, we love to tell hime we are naming a daughter after him because his fist and last name make great girl names. It's fun to get him riled up.

I secretly do like Jordan for a girl, but not McKenzie.

Oh! I love that we have the same names picked out! Maybe we can have an imaginary play date and have our same-named children be best not-real friends forever!

Well, duh!! It seems obvious to me you wouldn't name a boy Imaginary. Stick out tongue(OK, anyone want to take bets that at some point in the not-too-distant future, we'll actually see someone asking about this name over on Baby Names or First Tri?)
