Ecover tabs!

After trying a few different brands (Electrosol, 7th Gen powder & liquid and a few others), we most recently have been using Ecover tabs and LOVE them!!! No film or powdery substance left on the dishes (and we have a basic apartment model dishwasher). It's a little more expensive, but definitely well worth them!

I've heard good things about the Ecover tabs - we're going to make the switch when we're done with our non EF detergent. ?

Good to know, we are using BioKleen right now. ?But I do miss my tabs. ?Especially when its hard to keep puppy away long enough to put the powder in.

do the tabs dissolve all the way? I've had trouble with this in the past and switched to powder which I hate. and where did you get?

Why is dishwasher detergent the hardest thing to get right?!

I was having a lot of filmy issues with every eco friendly detergent I tried and recently started adding a little calgon to the load and now my dishes are sparkly again.

It is a pain. DH pre-washes the dishes when he loads it (heck - he might as well finish washing them by hand for as much as he does....but I digress!). With the others, we always found bits of the detergent on the dishes, but so far, this stuff really works and I'm not finding it stuck on the dishes or anywhere else.

I found it at my local health food store (Rollin' Oats), but I'm sure they have it at Whole Foods.

I got a 5-pack of boxes of Ecover tabs from Amazon cheaper than I could find them in any of the stores here, then combined the shipping with something else that I needed to make myself feel less bad about the energy expended in shipping.

I may just have to try these. We use (I think) the palmolive eco-friendly soap. It works most of the time but every now and then (like yesterday) we'll get a load out and it looks like it hasnt' even been washed.
