Re: Stupid question...

  • Have you checked with you practitioner about using Sudafed? My OB has approved it for me, and it has made a world of difference. Good luck!

  • At night I use Breathe Right strips. They really help. If it is really bad I'll take a Benadryl, but only at night. During the day I suffer.

  • My doc told me sudafed would be good, or the generic/store brand version with sudaphedrine in it.

  • As PP said, try breathe right strips! Maybe a humidifier in your room at night too?

  • I use Afrin nasal spray when i really can't breath.  I usually use the neti sinus bottle thing though  https://www.walgreens.com/store/catalog/Cough-and-Cold/SINUS-RINSE-Allergy-and-Sinus-Kit/ID=prod2598807-product .  The first few times you use it you kinda feel like you drowned but then it is relief! And you can breath so well.  Plus it is just a saline solution.  I currently can not use mine though because my husband was jacking with it and screwed the lid on it while it was still wet inside and the straw part got moldy.. anyways.. 2 good options you could try!

I completely agree!  I got mine when I was about 6 weeks because I didn't want to take anything and it worked like a charm to clear up my congestion.
